everyone says mafia 1 is better, though i disagree. I can see where they are coming from though, nostalgia is a big factor too but i find mafia 2's atmosphere, locations, driving and shooting, story telling way better. i feel like mafia 1 was harder, but that means more satisfying to beat then mafia 2, the story was very good too, felt really Mafia Definitive Edition vs original. I finished the game last night and as a big fan of the original I'd like to share how I feel about the changes they've made. Tommy Angelo was not a tough guy in the original game and his voice matched that. I think that made original Tommy Angelo a more believable character at the start of the game, whereas Mafia II: Definitive Edition comes with a ridiculous disclaimer about the ""culturally sensitive content and themes" from its original release in 2010. Mafia is smaller but much more grounded and story focused, the cars also handle like you'd expect vehicles from the 1940's/50's to, so keep that in mind. GTA V is bigger and wackier but the story isn't that great imo. There's also GTA Online to consider as well. I remember hearing that the Mafia 2 remake For Mafia 2 Classic there is a trainer that is called M2EXT, it contains the options you wrote about. M2EXT as well as the entire M2 Classic runs on Directx 9, however Mafia 2 Definitive Edition runs on Directx 11 - so a simple conversion is not possible. I have the source code of M2EXT (I got it from the original author yusik). I'd like to see an official Free Ride mode in Mafia II. Very big amount of mods which provide it. And most of them are pretty bad: they provide strange features like changing your player character or making you invincible. All I'd like to see in such mods is ability to change time of day and weather and maybe some additional missions. I gotta say I'm a ps4 player, didn't have that glitch thank God, but wouldnt matter what you play it on except for pc I guess, the definitive edition is a struggle to play but still worth it for the nostalgia. Original Mafia 2, there is no major difference in graphics apart from slightly better lighting and textures. Mafia 2 definitive edition have really bad optimization so it's not worth it. Reply Now on the definitive edition it's right there on the main menu sure. There should be an option to access the PlayStation store from the Mafia II main menu ("Downloadable Content"), there you will find all of the DLC for sale, apart from the Made Man Pack. All of this content is only available through the Downloadable Content panel on the main In Mafia 1, Tommy was a very relatable person, but in Mafia 2, Vito isn't relatable, but believable. It took a while for me to get used to it because I missed Tommy a lot during the beginning of Mafia 2. The game looks beautiful too. I played the Definitive Edition, so I can't tell if the original looked that good. Also, Physx was a nice addition. qoOvx.
